Volcanoes

Volcanoes are openings in the earth's crust from which hot gases, lava, ashes, etc., are thrown up, forming a cone-shaped hill or mountain with a central crater.

 

Earthquakes

Earthquakes are a shaking or vibrating of a part of the earth's surface, caused by an underground shift of plates.

 

Natural Disasters

Natural disasters are volcanoes or earthquakes or weather related phenomenon such as tornadoes or hurricanes.

Man-Made Landforms 

Man-made landforms or landmarks are made by man and not created naturally.

Stream Tables

Stream tables are models of the earth using sand and water in a tray. Their intent is to show erosion over hundreds and thousands of years in a simulated situation.

Natural Landforms

Natural landforms are those shapes of land which have become the way they are due to some type of wind or water erosion.
