Parents / Students: Please go to your child’s ‘ensemble’ page for specific information regarding the class. For example, a contract was handed out in Wind Ensemble class Thursday, Jan. 3 to each student. The scheduled performances, Playing test schedule, rehearsal schedule, and home practice requirements are outlined in the contract. Did you see this contract? If not, go to the ‘Wind Ensemble’ page.

1/9/08:
We have officially raised enough money to purchase new marching band uniforms and formal attire for Wind Ensemble / Symphonic Band / Concert Band performances through our “Dress up the band” campaign. The campaign raised $70,000 - all by individual and business donations (students didn’t have to ‘sell’ anything!) and the Kirkwood School district has pledged $40,000 of it’s next year’s budget for a total of $110,000. All those beat up bushes and pounded in pavements were left behind by two of the most wonderful volunteers any of us have ever had the opportunity to work with: Marie Kelly and Terri Kierstead. A.I.M. helped the campaign by providing much needed name lists, possible business donors, and alumni contact information going all the way back to the 1950s!
